With over 15 years of dedicated service in the United States Air Force, Dr. Micallef's experience as a Special Operations medical officer provided him with a unique perspective on the transformative power of plastic and reconstructive surgery. This first-hand exposure ignited his passion for the field and laid the foundation for his pursuit of excellence.
Dr. Alexandra S. Ortiz, MD
Dr. Alexandra S. Ortiz, MD, is a remarkable otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Her journey began at Duke University for her undergraduate education, followed by medical school at the prestigious Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. There, she was honored with the Army Surgeon General’s Award for academic excellence and leadership, a testament to her exceptional capabilities.
Dr. Ortiz further honed her skills during her otolaryngology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, TX. Nancy Canseco
Nancy built and led a top wedding photography and video studio in Chicago for 15 years, photographing weddings around the world. She has since sold that company to focus on a new mission: portrait photography that empowers women in business. Today she leads The Artists Collective in San Antonio, where her work is guided by a clear philosophy: great portraits are made through presence, not performance. That principle, paired with nearly two decades of experience behind the camera, shapes every session she shoots, headshots included. Nancy will be on-site at the Club Conduit salon series on September 2, offering attendees the chance to work directly with her.
